List of local Larkspur Area Charities (Colorado) – Holiday 2020

The Larkspur Veteran’s Monument is a Monument soon to be erected by local Larkspur artists, landscaper, and craftsman in honor of all veterans past and present.

Bobcat Kids is a 501(c)(3) organization that assists Larkspur Elementary Families who may need additional help with school supplies, snacks, winter clothing, and groceries.

The LES PTO’s goal is to support the wonderful community at Larkspur Elementary and the surrounding area and to partner with the principal, teachers, and staff to create a positive environment that supports and enhances the children’s education. Email:
 LHS provides educational programs for the general public and area school children. We provide opportunities to visit Historic buildings and sites normally closed to the general public.  We support the other Douglas County entities in their Historic efforts through presentations, re-enactments, community projects and celebrations.

Horseback Miracles’ (HBM’s) mission is to create a unique environment where our participants have a chance to use all their abilities to think more rationally, make more socially acceptable decisions and receive hope for a successful and better life.

An animal sanctuary who’s a mission it is to improve the lives of animals through educational programming and rescue, and by teaching the connectedness between animals and humans.  Offering community events, tours, kids day camps. They are also a contributing partner in research about the long-term positive effects of introducing humane education into our public schools.

The Flying Horse Foundation is a private, charitable foundation whose mission is to advance the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of at-risk youth, families, and seniors in our community.

Meet Muffy & Greg Sander!
Serving the Castle Rock and surrounding areas, Sander Ranch Flowers is owned and operated by Greg and Muffy Sander.

Muffy an extraordinary floral designer and 15 years’ experience in the floral industry. She has had a passion for flowers and design all her adult life. Gardening and raising beautiful flowers in her yard, then using them in her designs is something she gets excited about. And she loves to share her creations with her customers.

Welcome Zoology Foundation!

Zoology Foundation is an animal sanctuary who’s mission it is to improve the lives of animals through educational programming and rescue, and by teaching the connectedness between animals and humans. They offer community events, tours,and kids day camps. Zoology Foundation is also a contributing partner on research about the long term positive effects of introducing humane education into our public schools.

 The Zoology Foundation believes in order to get to the point where animals are treated with respect and regarded as gifts to the planet and humans; we must start with educating the future generations on the benefits of a healthy relationship between animals and humans.

Through multi-media programs geared towards children of all ages, we hope to engage them as stewards of animals and one another, and to protect and respect their place on our planet.

The Zoology Foundation is committed to supporting those rescue organizations that best work towards the betterment of animals with funding grants.

What we seek is an understanding that animals and humans both deserve respect and the right to a humane existence.

Help us kickoff the 1st Music in the Park concert series of 2018 w/ the ASHTōNZ’s!

The Larkspur Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to have partnered once again with The Town of Larkspur to kick off the 2nd annual Music in the Park series in beautiful Larkspur, Colorado (just up the road from Monument, and handy for our friends in Castle Rock too). A family-friendly, FREE evening of music on the Colorado Front Range. Bring your camping chair and your ready-for-fun attitude!  The ASHTōNZ’s are a local Colorado group who play a wide range of songs from the rock/pop/country/folk mixed with the occasional shot of blues genres.
