I am Jolene Saiz, a Certified Divorce Lending Professional (CDLP ®) and I specialize in divorce mortgage planning.  I am available for all your home financing needs –  purchase loans, refinance, HELOC (Home Equity Lines of Credit), but I realized helping those navigating the often daunting and stressful path of divorce was where I could help the most.
I approach what is often a stressful and sensitive time in one’s life with empathy, respect and understanding, but with a sprinkle of humor.  I just can’t help it, it is who I am. Divorce is heavy, dividing the marital home can be stressful and hard, and its nice to have someone on the other end of the phone have a smile in their voice.

Specialized Training
A CDLP® must obtain extensive, specialized training about dividing real property in a divorce, transferring of ownership, property types, how the mortgage interest deductions can be affected in a divorce and more to earn their certification.

Sooner Is Better
A CDLP® should be involved in the divorce process as soon as possible as I can help with divorce mortgage planning post divorce too.  By not waiting until too late in the process you avoid the risk of needing to change agreements that are no longer feasible to one party. I am educated to look at the whole picture, not just getting you a loan done right now.

Financial Neutral
As CDLP® I can assist both spouses as a neutral third party if so desired by helping both parties gather documents, understand their assets, financial obligations, analyze budgets, run scenarios etc. This can allow you to make educated financial decisions.

Part of the Team
As your CDLP® I work in collaboration with your divorce team, as a neutral third party to family law, mediators, tax planning, and financial advisors.  I have tools, resources and knowledge that a typical loan officer does not, that is why you would want to work with a CDLP®.
